Leveraging the network of Authorised Learning Centres, MKCL undertakes various e-governance projects for both, local self-government & state government departments. As the LLC for Thane & Palghar districts, SHRIM IT is an active and integral part of these projects. Some of these projects are:

Admission Processes project:

Acceptance of application forms from the public, scrutiny of forms and documents, processing (data entry) of applications for the centralised application and admission process of the Govt. of Maharashtra, Dept. of Higher Education’s Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Engineering and other such courses. This process includes scrutiny as per Govt. of Maharashtra rules as well as various guidelines stipulated by the Supreme Court of India for multiple variables including caste, creed, subject, major, language etc. Online data entry of processed applications, acceptance of fees, generation of shortlist of applicants suitable for Common Entrance Test, generation of Hall Tickets for such applicants, conduction of the online entrance tests, and generation of merit lists of successful candidates, are some key parts of this process.

Recruitment Projects:

Various departments of the Govt. of Maharashtra need pan-state presence and online capabilities to ensure quick and effective methods of recruitment for vacancies arising in various localities across the state. Acceptance of application forms from the eligible candidates, public, scrutiny of forms and documents, processing (data entry) of applications, generation of eligibility list as per government guidelines, conduction of online entrance tests, and generation of merit lists of successful candidates, are some key parts of this process. Such recruitment projects are regularly in process throughout the year.

SHRIM IT’s role in such projects is selection of the ALCs most appropriately located as per the government department’s requirement. We also select educational institution partners for these activities. Then coordination of the submission of online applications & collection of documents submitted at the various ALCs/institutions, central scanning and data entry of the source documents (attachments to the candidates’ applications) which is required for the software selection of eligible candidates, and local liaison with the concerned government department.

As per the individual needs of the customer [concerned recruiter], SHRIM IT facilitates the online or physically written examinations for the preliminary selection of the candidates for shortlisting. This involves selection of appropriate venues at the required geographic areas, arranging the technical infrastructure, and security arrangements, as well as actually conducting the examinations if needed.
