Imparting Computer Education in Schools

Schools in Maharashtra state provide introduction to computing and basic computer literacy education to their students. Our subsidiary, Edify Infotech sets up the computer laboratory, (typically a 15-30 node network of high-end personal computers, with all allied peripherals and broadband internet access) appoints faculty and imparts instruction to the students as per the local government specified syllabus and fee structure.

Currently, we operate the computer training labs in the Sterling School, Nerul, Navi Mumbai, and the Sterling School, Bhosari, Pune, both schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, [CBSE] Govt. of India, as well as the Nutan Marathi Vidyalaya, Nerul, affiliated to the The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education. This training includes students from Stds. 1 to 10 with varying mediums and progressive syllabi.

The Edify Nerul Branch handles 1500-1750 students and the Bhosari branch handles about 450-600 students each academic year. In both locations, the computer centres also function as Authorised Learning Centres for all courses of MKCL, including MS-CIT, KLiC courses and the MKCL’s KLiC Diploma course.

Conducting Computer Literacy & Proficiency Courses

The Company also operates MKCL’s KLiC Center, which is an MKCL authorised learning center for MKCL’s computer proficiency offerings — the KLiC range of courses and the KLiC Diploma Course, in addition to the basic computer literacy MS-CIT course. This center is a model ALC situated in the MKCL building in Seawoods, Nerul, Navi Mumbai.
